Hi,
I work on scanned 35mm slides, and eventually they must be resized. As there are thousands, I want to batch process them. I select ‘"Constrain Proportions" so the images won’t get stretched, however, the images are a mixed bag of horizontal and verticle orientations, so I need to find a way to include "select long side" in the batch process. Can this be done? Has anyone here found a way to auto-select the long side of an image in a batch process?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Ah, I see. So, if I wanted to be sure all images were under 800 pixels on their longs sides, I’d simple select 800 pixels as both my width and length?

Yes. That way the image would always fit into an imaginary 800×800 box, making the longest side 800 no matter the orientation.
