All I want to do is take a folder of photos (which have been uploaded from a compact flash card to my PC in very hi res JPG format) and resize them to 400 X 300 pixels and save them in a compressed JPG format for easy web/email sharing. I thought it would be easy. It is not…for me at least.

It seems as if is very simple to create a droplet from ImageReady to create copies of images in selected optimized states. However I also need to resize the images to fit most users computer screen at actual pixel size (from 2048 X 1536–the default setting on my digital camera–to a screen friendly viewable 400 X 300).

Creating "actions" is no problem in either Photoshop and ImageReady. Creating droplets that work is another story.

Please help!
