I’ve been working on 3 things lately with PS CS3.
1 Learning more about the pen tool. very interesting and hard. I’ve seen the helps and PS video.. Need more info… So far it’s registered as a ‘connect the dots’ tool. Ran across a unique image, many layers, each layer with it’s own personality.
layer 1 background white. layer 2 clouds difference, layer 3 various size star brushes at random positions, layer 4 gradient banner, layer 5 text on banner, layer 6 pen tool creating a bevel embossed gradient ribbon. The ‘connect the dots’ for the ribbon, isn’t working out as I’d want it, and drawing free hand doesn’t cut it either.
2 wanting to wrap images around cylinders. 1st thing is to make GOOD cylinders. Specifically coke cans.. Used the rounded rectangle tool. Guess that’s about as close as I can get to a cylinder. Looking to make a can tilting forward, showing the pop top tab.
3 using the vanishing point filter. Lots of fun with this one. Drew a cylinder. and tried using vanishing point to wrap an image on it’s plane. Not the best use..
