I had been using the first generation Spyder for monitor profiling with adequate but less than ideal results.
I have been trying to use the Monaco OptixXR/EZ color system for profiling monitor, scanner and printer.
I believe I am following their instructions but the results are pretty awful if I use the printer/paper profiles I generate following their instructions. If I go back to just using the Monaco monitor profile and canned Epson 1280 paper profiles the results are adequate, actually slightly worse than what I got with the old Spyder.
Does anyone use the Monaco system successfully with an Epson printer? Are you able to use your printer/paper profiles in the way that the program instructions specify?
