Numeric transfrom in version 7.

Okay, maybe I’m being a bit slow here, but does anybody out there know how to apply numeric transformations to individual layers in Photoshop 7?!! It always used to exist (eg. edit>transfrom>numeric) on earlier versions, but I have yet to suss on how to do an exact transformation to required cm/inches to a layer in version 7. I have to do it by hand, so to speak, by dragging the layer to size, but that seems pretty ridiculous. I’ve come across other rants about this, so I’m not alone…

Your help would be as ever appreciated.

You should be able to just type in the numbers. If I do a free transform, on the top there’s the transform toolbar, and you can just right click on the width and height field to choose what you want to use (percent, inches, cm, etc.). Then just apply the transform.

In v7, Numeric Transform ceased being a seperate menu item, and is now found in the Option Bar during Free Transform.

Duh – just found the mouse-click-to-change cm/percent etc function on the options bar. Thanks a lot to you both anyway!
