I currently have the Middle Eastern version of Photoshop CS 8 installed. It can receive updates. Can I use use this version to upgrade to the US version of Photoshop CS 2 V9?

I have emailed this question to Adobe almost a week ago and have not yet received a reply to my question.

No. New versions are not updates, they are upGRADES which have to be bought and paid for.

yes you can buy a copy of the ps cs2 (ver 9) upgrade and install it as long as you have 8 installed or have the disk. their might be problems changing languages, but adobe should help you resolve that if you call customer service.
