Select the layers pixels and convert to a path then add a fill?

A tip, is to hold down the alt button when clicking ‘make workpath from selection’ in the Paths Panel – this will bring up the tolerances dialogue.

thnkx , BTW…is there a way to paste illustrator pathes in photoshop while preserving the x and y position?
