Images saved as *.eps in photoshop elements II are rejected by LaTeX (MikTeX) with the error message that the eps file does not contain a ‘BoundingBox’ declaration. My publishers also warn that they will not accept .eps images without this declaration. Any ideas? Can I put it into the *.eps file by hand?

Thanks

Hi
The problem is the format you saved your images. I use photoshop and I have the option to save in DSC2.0(*EPS) and DSC1.0(*EPS)
Using DSC 2.0 in Photoshop 6.0, I have following settings (sorry, don´t know the English terms): Bildschirmdarstellung: Ohne
DCS: Einzeldatei DCS; kein Gesamtbild
Kodierung: ASCII
In Photoshop 7.0 I had problems with this settings, so I switched to DSC 1.0. Hope this will help you 🙂
Greetings
