eraser not working

Hi, for some reason I can’t erase a part of the image and I don’t know why. Does it matter if it’s text? None of the layers are locked. Mindy

Yes, text cannot be erased unless you rasterize the layer.

Instead of rastersizing it, which I do not like since you cannot edit the text again. I would add a mask to the text, then you can erase what you need.
