Help. Can’t find serial number.

I’m trying to install the software but it wants a serial number and I’m not sure where it is. THe disc came with a scanner I bought but I can’t find any info on the needed serial number. THanks a lot.

The serial number is usually on the paper cover for the CD – two copies on little strips so one can be moved somewhere else. If you never turn it up, you’ll have to contact the manufacturer for the scanner. They bought the distribution rights from Adobe, so Adobe can’t be of any help.

If you don’t find it via Beth’s instructions, check the paper information that you got with the scanner. When programs come bundled with devices, the device maker is in charge of the program’s serial number as they make the CD under license and Adobe has no direct registration with it, nor registers that specific program.
