When I double click on a jpeg file, Elements automatically loads. How do I stop this from occuring? Win 98 OS.

Philip,

Hold down the SHIFT key, and RIGHT-click on a JPG file.

From the context menu, choose Open With…

From the Open With dialog, choose the application you want to be the JPG default.

Check the "Always use this program…" box to make your selection the default.

Click OK, and the JPG will open in the new app — double-clicking a JPG will now open the image in this app.
