I tend to be able to process only 20-25 images at a time with the droplets I’ve set up using photoshop 7 in win XP. The maximum number changes slightly but this is the average. I get an error message – ‘windows cannot access the specified drive, file…’ if I try to process more.

Does anyone know how I can improve this performance? Is it simply down to the processing capabilities of the PC, or something else?

Many thanks

Stefan

I think it’s a path length thing. try dropping a folder of files, instead of the individual files themselves.

That worked perfectly and will save me a huge amount of time – thanks very much.
