I have been using PE 2 for several months with virtually no problems. Now, for some reason it crashes when I select print preview for an image. I am using Windows 98 SE and have plenty of RAM (640 mb) and free hard disk space. Any solutions to this problem?

Stuart,

Delete the preferences file. Hold Alt/shift/ctrl down and launch PSE, keep holding til you get dialog box, answer yes, let it load.

Nancy, where do I find the "preference file"? (i.e., what folder?) Thanks,

Stu,

I’m not Nancy (obviously!), but I think I can get you going in the right direction.

After closing PSE, you will need to press and hold a 3-key combination (CTRL-ALT-SHIFT) IMMEDIATELY after clicking the PSE icon to start the app.

A dialog will appear allowing you to delete the preferences.
