I am wondering if anyone knows why, when opening multiple files in Photoshop CS, the files are opened and listed in a random order rather than in sequence. Earlier versions of Photoshop did not do this. I am using OS-X not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I need to know if there is a way to change this so that the files open in sequence. Any help wold be great.

Thanks

How do you open the files? File>Open or from the File Browser? If you use the File Browser, they should open in reverse order.

I have been using the File>Open.

Actually the same thing happened in Photoshop 7 under Mac OS X. Your guess that Mac OS X has something to do with it is correct. It appears that Mac OS 9 used to sort the list of files handed to an application, whereas Mac OS X does not.
