I did a search because I was sure this has been brought to the forum’s table for discussion already, but it returned no results. So here I go. How can I disable the dock’s ‘universal’ short cut in OS X (Panther) show/hide activation Command-Option-D so it can go back to being the feather short cut in Photoshop. I know I can remap the command in Photoshop, but then I would be suppressing years of automatic execution that I have worked to depend on. Thanks!

Just re-map it in System/Preferences/Keyboard & Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts.

I have Dock Show/Hide set to use Control D.

Ann, you genius, you. I had no idea you could do that from the system side.

I am still discovering some of the hidden depths of OSX.

"Customizing keyboard shortcuts in applications" in Apple’s Help will provide some more info. on this subject.
