Feather… Keyboard command clashes with Dock hiding

Curious if anyone has found a way to override 10.3.x’s "Turn [dock] hiding on" command that is shared with the keyboard command for "Feather…" [option-shift-D]

I’m running Photoshop CS and 10.3.5 on a AlBook 1.25MHZ, 1.25GB RAM. 60GB drive.

In System Preferences/Keboard & Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts, change to Control D
for hiding & revealing the Dock.
