Actions – Save As problem

I use actions all the the time and have come across a problem after upgrading from 5.5 to CS. When using a save as command in actions the dialogue box comes up with the default for file format toggled to Photoshop document and save a copy always checked. The action was created by inserting the save as menu item from the file menu.

If you manually select "save as" from the file menu – the save a copy and PSD defaults and not checked.

Anyone found the same problem and have a solution?

Are you trying to save with features (layers for instance) not supported in the file format? You might need to add a flatten step before the Save As step.

I am experiencing a similar problem, in addition photoshop will re-name the doccument to any number of things when doing a save as, when all we want to do is change the format. And the batch save as will give each of the saves, the same name thus overwritting the previous save.
