I am using photoshop version 7 and sometime recently I started getting a strange thing happending. When I go to make a new layer and use the type tool, no matter what font I choose (even when they are set to ‘regular’, teh font is italicized. In fact I cannot get a standard non- italics font at all. Any idea what would be causing this?

This problem is caused by not pressing F1.
But here’s a hint: check the character and paragraph palette.
