Photoshop 7 asking to activate

I hope this is the right place to ask this question. I have purchased the Adobe Creative Suite upgrade package and installed it. Everything seems to be running smoothly but occationaly I get an alert to activate the photoshop software. I have done this several times and every time it tells me that it completed successfully. Why is it that it keeps asking me to activate?

I can’t answer your question but Photoshop within the Creative Suite is either Photoshop 8 (CS) or Photoshop 9 (CS2). Photoshop 7 didn’t have activation.

Why is it that it keeps asking me to activate?

could it be an overly aggressive registry cleaner? might be wiping out the activation key in the registry.

Not completely true, Tony. PS 7.0 was the test for activation and it was used in the Australian market.
