Paths to Illustrator? Vectorizing without Streamline?

Can anyone explain the process of importing a bitmap/raster image from Photoshop into an Illustrator (vector) format. I know this can be done. Since Streamline does not work with OSX I have to find a new way of vectorizing. Thanks.

Oh Arik, I’m afraid you have posted on the wrong forum. Look for full Photoshop forum or illustrator forum. I don’t have illustrator though I wish i did.
