In PS CS2, Ctrl+Z always toggles between Undo/Redo. The book (on page 46) refers to a setting in Preferences | General, but that isn’t there any more (I do remember this from in versions). I know this needs to be done in shortcuts, but I can only find the Edit | Undo/Redo toggle (with one shortcut), not the separte Undo and Redo commands…

Help?

Thanks!

Steve

J,

Ctrl+Y seems to add CMYK to the current layer type.e.g
RGB/8 becomes RGB/8/CMYK and CMYK/8 becomes CMYK/8/CMYK. (very useful)

Steve,
Ctrl+Y is View>Proof colors.

I’m trying to find out how I can make Ctrl+Z perform an Undo, and Ctrl+Y perform a Redo. Currently CS2 only toggles this last change.

Thanks,

Steve

Ah… I found it: Edit | Keyboard Shortcuts, Palette Menus (that’s what I was overlooking), History, Step Forward and Step Backward. This lets you specify different keys for Undo and Redo, and removes the default toggle action of Ctrl+Z.

Steve,

Control + Y is already assigned to View>proof colors. MH
