I have a PS file that uses the ‘screen’ layer blend mode for some effects. When I try to merge all layers (not flatten to white bg) all the ‘screen’ layers go back to normal mode, discarding the screen effects.
Is there any way to merge all visible layers into one transparent object while retainging a layer blend mode effect?
Why can’t PS do this? If you can’t output it with a transparent background, what good is it?
I am trying to use the image in InDesign, placed over an InDesign gradient object, So I can’t flatten it with a solid background because I need InDesign’s gradient to show through the PSD or TIF image.
Please Help!!!
