You know how you can use Multiply to make your pixels fade from black to whatever color you want. I wanted to fade to transparency. Doesn’t work. What else might work? I do NOT want anything like a selection. I want my greyscale image to show what background it is over when I export it as a PNG and put it in Flash. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I got it to work using a layer mask. Rather convoluted but it did what I needed!
