I’m getting ready to upgrade my system. (New mobo and proc) Does anyone know of some benchmarks for the AMD 64 vs P4 specifically for Photoshop performance?

Can’t answer your specific question but I don’t think 64 bit processor is likely to help unless the app is compiled for 64 bits. I very much doubt there is a 64 bit version of elements.

What I do know is that gobs of memory (1GB or more) WILL improve certain photoshop functions, especially the filters. Make sure you add enough memory.
