Epson seems to be silent on the subj of non-Epson papers, including 220gsm (heavy weight) artist water color papers and canvases, which thwy don’t sell. What have your experiences been, esp with these papers and the R1800?

I’ve found a page in the R1800 User’s Guide with relevant information — it mentions PremierArt Matte Scrapbook photo paper and PremierArt Water-resistant canvas.

Of course, the ink-and-paper compatibility guide,
< http://www.epson.com/cmc_upload/0/000/035/905/Ink_PprCompChr t_14505R5.pdf> indicates that these papers are not compatible with 6-color inks which is what the R1800 uses.
