This has been a problem ever since I started using Photoshop my Macbook Pro. I also get this related message when I launch the app. "One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop". I’ve done this (re-installed) Photoshop to no avail…
For Illustrator it’s no problem?

The FAQs are right at the top of the page where you started this thread.

The one that you need is:
<http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.2ccf1da6>

But read through the rest of them too because there is useful stuff there!
