Can you elaborate? My boss just replaced a logic board in his iBook – about $420.

for me 4 months after the 1 year warranty ran out the logic board died. I was really pissed. If you go to the Apple forums you will see that this is a big problem. Apple did a recall on the G3 logic boards but won’t admit a problem on the G4s yet.

Well I called Apple and bitched and they agreed to fix it for me for $150. I just it off today.
