After installing Mac OS X v 10.5, I’m unable to open Photoshop 7.0.1 – message is

An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because of a program error. Photoshop will now exit.

There doesn’t seem to be a download on the Adobe site to correct this – any ideas?

There really aren’t any. Adobe has stated that Photoshop 7 (the first MacOS X compatible version) isn’t supported on Leopard. So, take your pick–Leopard or the more current version of Photoshop (CS3).

Good luck. We just purchased a new MacBook Pro with the Intel chip and NONE of our old software will work and this on OX10.4.x (we’ve not upgraded to Leopard)

Tried to install CS3 with an initial install failure error now the error message is something to the effect ‘your demo has expired’
