can’t do manual photomerge in Elements 6

I upgraded from Elements 3 to 6 in order to use it with Leopard on a MacBook Pro. With Elements 3, when a photomerge did not work because there was not sufficient overlap, you could manually line up the photos. In Elements 6, I get a message that says "some images could not be automatically aligned." The 2 images I am trying to merge appear in layers, but only one appears in the bin and one appear. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to manually merge these 2. To add to my frustration, the help manual only gives help for doing it automatically and gives no information on how to do it manually and the guided section only gives steps on group shot and faces photomerge, zippo on panorama. Same with the Adobe knowledge base.

This is very frustrating! Any help would be much appreciated.

Since hardly anyone here uses Elements you will get much better help in the Elements forum

Photoshop 10 merge works great. maybe you should upgrade.
