I have a new PC which uses Windows XP. My old PC used Windows ME. When I try to install PSE on the new PC I don’t get a installation Wizard and the application will not install from the CD. What’s srong?

First make sure any antivirus software is disabled, and then try this, which I "borrowed" from another recent thread on problems reinstalling Elements:

You can explore the CD and copy the Elements installer folder to your desktop. Sometimes when there is a problem installing off of CD this will work. Also you can try installing in Safe Mode.
