PSE 2 hangs during startup on TabletPC

I did not encounter any problems during the installation of Photoshop Elements 2 on my Acer C302 TabletPC, but can’t get it to run. When I try to open PSE, it hangs while going through the "Initializing" or the "scanning for plug-ins". The TabletPC is simply Windows XP with extensions for the tablet, so are there any know issues or things I should try to get PSE to work? Thanks.

Gerry,

You might try disabling the extensions by putting a tilde (~) in front of the extensions folder name. That would narrow it down at least.
