Enabling Distort functions

Hi,

I am trying to use the distort functions in PhotoShop CS2. In the distort menu (which is under filters), only the lens correction is ever available. I am trying to access the shear tool. I have tried it with many different images and after using the marquee tool, however I can never get them to be available. Has anyone got any suggestions about what could be the problem.

Hamish,

Make sure your image is in 8-bit mode. The Distort filters in CS2 don’t work in 16-bit mode.
