Downloading Photo Shop Elements 2.0 Recipes

I read about problems people were having with error messages back in January. I am not able to successfully download new recipes. It either gives an error message or fails to connect. Any help is appreciated. I’m using Photoshop Elements 2 on a Windows XP machine.

I think what we’ve finally decided is sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t. I was involved in a fairly recent thread on this, and I just kept trying and finally connected. I think the connection failed twice, went on once, and then failed on the fourth try. All tries were one right after the other. There isn’t any secret fix like there is for some problems – no consistency to when/how it happens, either, so it’s definitely a server issue of some sort.
