.jpg missing from Save menu

In CS2, jpg seems missing from the format list when I want to save an image as a jpg. How can I add it?

You cannot save an image in the jpeg format if it isn’t in 8 bit mode. Hence, if your image is 16 bits, then the jpg option does not appear. Jim
