Hi

Is there anyway I can change the default of 180ppi when I resize my photos?

If your images open in Elements at 180ppi, then your camera must tag them as such.

Turn Resample OFF, and ppi goes up as image size goes down, ppi goes down as image size goes up.

Or turn Resample ON, and you can choose a ppi: but if increasing, you are interpolating, adding "made up" pixels; might help some, within reasonable limits.
