I have a shot taken with a canon L series lense at 30mm and i wish to correct effect of the lense. Does anyone know if there is a software solution that corrects this.

Thanks in advance

I use Andromeda LensDoc (PS plug) for things like distortion and rotation. Works very well. "Volt" wrote in message I have a shot taken with a canon L series lense at 30mm and i wish to correct effect of the lense. Does anyone know if there is a software solution that corrects this.

The Photoshop default Spherize or Pinch filter should work. (Spherize with a negative value to un-spherize.) Both are in the
Filter/Distort menu. First, however, you should expand your canvas size so that an inscribed circle in the canvas will circumscribe
the full size of your image. (If you don’t do this, the corners will not be corrected, one of my bigger annoyances with
Spherize/Pinch.) Haven’t tried the LensDoc plugin, but it sounds like it may give you more control over this…
