In color picker it is possible to specify a color by the RGB values. (I think)

IS it possible to display the numbers of some color picked up by the eyedropper?

If so, how?

Thanks

The color picker automatically does display the numbers of the color you pick when you use the eyedropper. Or am I missing something. Don’t you see the numbers change when you use the eyedropper to select the foreground color?

There may be a display I don’t have turned on, I don’t see any numbers. Where should I look for them?

Thanks

Charles,

Double click on the foreground icon (at the bottom of the tools) then select the colour picker and use it to select a colour from your image … the numbers will show in the palette.

If you look under more you will find an options tab that will let you choose between seeing actual color, grayscale, rgb, hsl or web colors. I learn something here almost every day I visit.

I leave the Info palette open on my desktop all the time. I set the two choices for RGB and grayscale. It’s also helpful in defining the size of a rectangular selection.
