Boy, I sure hate upgrading sometimes…

On CS3 I could create a mask by apple+shift+M

CS4 doesn’t work, anyone know what it is now?

Assuming you mean to create a new layer mask, I’ve never heard of that shortcut. And if I’ve never heard of it believe me it wasn’t there.

You must have set it up yourself in CS3. It can still be set the same way in CS4 – Keyboard shortcuts. Layer/Layer mask – reveal all

If you actually meant clipping mask (command option G) or alpha channel then you can also set shortcuts for these.
