I have been running Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 on my laptop (windows xp) for several months with no problems until two days ago. The program froze up (hour glass – program not responding) on the organizer screen. I have 10GB free on 18GB hard drive. I have scanned for viruses, run defrag, and uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop. But the program still freezes up. I have installed this on two desk top computers (windows xp) and the program runs fine. I need to use the laptop at an event for a slide show. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Tom

Hey Tom. I ain’t gonna gloss over this: You’ve knocked on the wrong door. This is PS Windows. The Elements crew live a couple of doors down the hall.
