PC is 3 months old. Have been running elements 4.0 with no problems, then acquired Photoshop 7. Loaded PS7, placing primary scratch on an external hard drive – even though I have plenty of memory on my PC. Elements and PS7 appear to be running fine. The problem occurs when I go to Start and My Pictures. Since loading PS7, opening folders in My Pictures takes much time and the photos are small and hard to see. If I hit refresh thumbnails, they go back to regular size; but once the computer is turned off and then back on the next day, all this starts over and I have to refresh thumbnails again. Any ideas? Although I have used elements for several years, I am new to Photoshop 7.
