I have two different PhotoshopCS2 files, which appear to have the same color and image mode set-up. However, in the title bar, one file says [filename].psd @ [zoomlevel] (RGB/8), and the other file says [filename].psd @ [zoomlevel] (RGB/8#). I can not find the difference between (RGB/8) and (RGB/8#). Can anyone please enlighten me on the differences?

The # indicates that there is no colour profile embedded with that file.

A * indicates there is a profile, but it does not match your working space.

Nothing indicates the embedded profile matches your working space.
