Help with a plug in problem – PSE2

I am using PSE2 and downloaded some additional plugins. I don’t know how to get them into PSE2. I found them in the plugins folder in explorer, but how do I activate them for use? Thanks for any help

when adding plug ins;
Windows
C;Program files>adobe>elements 2>plug-ins>filters.

Mac
Applications>Elements2>plug-ins>filters.

Keep in mind not ALL photoshop filters will work in Elements..most do.
