I’m trying to make a main webpage for my website, so im using Imageready. I have created a 800×600 page with an header (image). I used layers fot the headerimage, a menu bar. I sliced the total page up.
1. header
2. menubar
3. body
4. footer
If i generate this with ‘save optimized as’ .html and images. Then the blank spaces that i also sliced will become an gif file. Now i cant put any text or images in this area if i want to adjust the pages by hand.
So the problem is that he also generates the body (white space) as an gif file and sets this in a table structure.
Does anyone know what i can do? So i want the header (image) and the footer (image), the body must be blank so after the generation of code i get add my own html/javascript code here.
Thanks for any of your hints.
Jack.
