Thanks to an abundant snow melt, the falls in Yosemite National Park are especially full this year. I took the linked picture this past Saturday afternoon on a day-trip to the valley.
Yosemite Falls is the world’s 5th tallest, at 2425 feet total height. The upper fall, the most prominently visible portion, is 1430 feet… more than 1/4 mile.
