I have been trying to create a specific action that would be invaluable to what i do, however have had trouble creating such a action.
We work for photo print so nearly all images are output at 6×4, 5×7, 8×10.. but there is a printer bleed issue
eg > an image is cropped and sized to 5×7, it then needs reduction to
4.875x? then the canvas set to 5×7.5.
What i have trouble with is creating a command that simply subtracts 1.125in.. because at the moment it resizes the image to the final size specifed while wrting the action. This is no good as some images are odd size eg 3×7 and require simply a subtraction of the 1.125in of its short side.
I hope this makes enough sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
