Actually you could get Premiere Elements, it will do this and is very inexpensive. I bought it just for the times I need to do something basic with video.
I do have QuickTime installed. When I bring up the File Open dialog, there is no entry for .MOV or .AVI files…
Yes, I finally figured out I could do this with Premiere by creating a mask .JPG file and copying it to the Video 2 timeline….works great…so my problem is solved.
It still doesn’t explain why I can’t open that file in PS CS3 extended.
