Hi
I have installed Photoshop CS2 but when ever I open the application an error message pops up saying:

‘An error has been detected and activation cannot continue. Please restart your computer and reinstall the application’

I have reinstalled the application but it does not help. Also I have never had any other photoshop software installed on my laptop.

-By the way I am on windows xp pro

any help appriciated.

Did you buy it off e-bay?

If so does the CD say "Made in Singapore" ?

There is a load of pirate copies around, beautifully presented, shrink-wrapped and really looking like the real thing…
