I am still new to photoshop coming to terms with all its many buttons and options.
When I read that illustrator is an ideal extra box of tricks for any budding designer, what exactly does illustrator offer me that I cannot already do in photoshop?
Thanks

Loads,
PS is basically a bitmap editor (a very powerful one!) with a little vector capability.
You can create images from scratch in PS but it is far beasier to use the mainly vector based(scalability) Illustrator (or CorelDraw) for this. TWK
