How i improve a text scan document

want a print a text document. when i scan my document. it does not look as good as orginal document. How can i improve my document after i scan so that it will look as good as orginal document. Please help me. i am using Photoshop CS3.

Mohammad: It will never look as good as the original, but you should scan in grayscale and once the scan is complete you should adjust the levels so that the background noise is removed (by using the white eyedropper) and the type is darkened (using the black eyedropper). You can also use ‘curves’ for this in the same way.
