How do I add RAW photos to CS3

I am trying to open RAW images in my new install of CS3, but it doesn’t let me do it. Is there a trick to this that I’m not familiar with?
Thank you for your help.
BTW I am running XP Pro.

CS3 ships with Adobe Camera Raw version 4.0 – covering the camera models that were current up to about spring 2007. If you have a newer camera ACR won’t see it.

Update to the present version which is 4.5. Go to the download page and follow instructions.
